It’s Your Jubilee!
...It shall be a Jubilee for you; and each of you shall return to his possession, and each of you shall return to his family.
Leviticus 25:10
In the Old Testament, Jubilee was a special time of rest for the children of Israel. It was a time when every debt was forgiven, slaves were freed, the hungry were fed, and it was a time of celebration for everyone.
For you, Christ is your jubilee. Your real Jubilee began when you were born again.
You’ve entered into the rest of God, and into a time of unending celebration.
So, you see why everyday should be joyful and exciting for you? You don’t have to wait for a special day to celebrate. Everyday should be for celebration because you have come into God’s rest! Hallelujah!
