HIS LIGHT IS IN YOUR SPIRIT

The spirit of man is the candle of the LORD, searching all the inward parts of the belly (Proverbs 20:27). 

As God’s children, we’re never in the dark about anything. You can know anything  because the light of God is in your spirit. The Lord Jesus said in John 8:12, “...I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life.” 

You’re not supposed to walk in darkness about your finances, your health, your career, business, and ministry or in any area of your life. If you ever find yourself in a situation where it seems you’re at a loss for answers concerning a situation, speak in tongues. 

As you speak in tongues, the mystery about that situation will come to your understanding. If you have concerns about your health, don’t just run to the doctors 

or places you think you might find help. Consult with the Holy Spirit first; you’ll be amazed how quickly His light and wisdom will well up within you, showing you precisely what to do. 

He’s in you to help you understand certain things about yourself and about life. He’ll show you the future and guide you to take specific steps in line with His plans for your life. John 16:13 says, “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.” Learn to follow His light and guidance from within you. 

PRAYER

Dear Father, as I speak in tongues today, the eyes of my understanding are flooded with light. I walk in divine wisdom and my life is upward and forward only because 

I follow the light and guidance of the Spirit, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

IN THE NAME OF JESUS! 

(His Name Changes Everything)

TO THE BIBLE: Mark 16:17-18

“And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

LET’S TALK

God placed all authority in the Name of Jesus (Philippians 2:9-10). His Name has the greatest honour and the greatest authority. It doesn’t matter what might have plagued you; it doesn’t matter for how long you’ve been under or on the sidewalk of life; your victory is guaranteed in His Name.

What you have to do is live your life with the consciousness of the power, glory, and dominion of the Name of Jesus. When you do this, you won’t struggle with some health troubles; your life will be an unending stream of victories, blessings, and the 

supernatural. You’ll have no consciousness of need because the power and glory of His Name make all things right with you and work for you.

If you’d learn to use the Name of Jesus in your life and in everything you do, you’d be amazed at the extraordinary blessings you’d experience every day. His Name is an 

instrument, a great blessing for us in the New Testament. The Word tells us to use the Name of Jesus in all things (Colossians 3:17).

What many have lacked is the consciousness of the power and authority of His Name. When you make demands in His Name, He sees to it that they happen (John 14:14). When someone is sick in your home, for example, take charge and declare, “In the Name of Jesus Christ, I rebuke the pain; I rebuke the affliction!” Mention the sickness and command it to go! He told us to heal the sick, so it’s our responsibility to do it in His Name; and His Name never fails!

Speak

No sickness, disease or infirmity can thrive in my body because I have the divine life—the indestructible, unconquerable life of God—in my spirit! I’m conscious of my divinity and immortality in Christ Jesus. Blessed be God! I live victoriously and dominate life’s situations and circumstances. Hallelujah!

Beware!

Beware lest anyone cheat you through philosophy and empty deceit, according to the tradition of men, according to the basic principles of the world, and not according to 

Christ

Colossians 2:8 

Do you know what the word “beware” means? It means to be careful and alert to dangers. The word is often used to warn people, so they can be alert. For example, if you see a building with the sign “Beware of Dogs”, it means you’d need to be careful, because, a fierce dog might just be behind the walls. 

In these last days, we have to be very careful of the kind of information we read, watch and listen to. The books may be fun to read; the video game may be exciting; the cartoon may make you laugh, but are they good for you? Do they inspire you to pray or study your Bible more? Do they make you love Jesus more? If your answers to these questions is NO, then it’s time to stop engaging in them, immediately.

Dear heavenly Father, I thank you for giving me the wisdom to choose the right information so that I meditate on only those things which will inspire me to love you more, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
