The First And The Best
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new.
2 Corinthians 5:17
Firstfruit simply means the first and the best! As God’s child, you’re the firstfruit of
God! This means you are the best of God. Hallelujah!
You’re His special kind of creature, a new creature. That’s why the Bible says, “Of His
own will He brought us forth by the word of truth, that we might be a kind of firstfruits of His creatures” (James 1:18). In other words, you’re His first and best!
Therefore, see yourself the way God sees you. You’re special, beautiful, royal, excellent, and full of glory. You’re uniquely different. So, be the best in all you do today.
