Pray For All Men
Therefore I exhort first of all that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks be made for all men
1 Timothy 2:1
Do you know that the Lord has an order which he wants you to follow when you
pray? Yes, there is! The Lord expects us to begin our prayer by praying first for all men. That’s exactly what today’s memory verse is saying. It says, “First of all,” meaning before you pray for other things—be it your academics, health, and loved ones—pray for all men. This is important to the Lord!
But there’re Christians who only pray for themselves. They only pray about things that affect them. It shouldn’t be so.
Be concerned about others, and spend time praying for them. Remember, “…he
who waters will also be watered himself” (Proverbs 11:25).

Let’s Pray
Dear Lord, thank you for showing me the right order to pray. I pray that all men will receive your glorious gospel of salvation, and become born again, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
