Speak Kindly To Others
Kind words are good medicine, but deceitful words can really hurt.
Proverbs 15:4 CEV
Today’s memory verse reminds me of an inspiring story in the Bible. Abigail was the
wife of a wicked man named Nabal. The man was unkind to David and his men. So,
David was angry with him and planned to destroy every male in his family. But Abigail met David on the way and spoke kind words to him. Those words made David to change his mind, and he left without carrying out his plan (1 Samuel 25:28:35).
Kind words are like medicine; they can drive away anger, sorrow and brighten
anyone’s day. So, be that child who always has a kind word for everyone.
