Together As One
And He is the head of the body, the church, who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things He may have the preeminence.
Colossians 1:18
Our Lord Jesus Christ is the head of the Church. But the head isn’t functional without its body. As God’s child, you’re a member of His Body. That isn’t all. As a member of His body, you complete Him! That’s awesome, isn’t it?
You and the Lord are joined together (1 Corinthians 6:17). Though the Lord is great and powerful, He needs you to establish His will in the world.
So, never look down on yourself for you’re joined together with the Lord, and that makes you and Him one unbeatable team. Hallelujah!
